This privacy policy applies to the mobile application "VibeCheck drinking game" (package com.vibegame.app). The app is provided as a freemium service with optional rewarded advertising and optional Vibe Pro plans sold through Google Play: auto-renewing annual Vibe Pro and the non-renewing three-day Party Weekend prepaid plan. James Bell, a sole trader in England, is the controller for personal data processed by VIBE's first-party reporting service. Contact: alphawolfjamie@gmail.com.
Ordinary gameplay data remains local to your device. We do not operate a VIBE account, cloud gameplay profile, or backup service for player names, saved decks, custom cards, settings or gameplay state. First-party collection occurs when you explicitly submit a card report or contact the developer for support; ordinary gameplay is not uploaded to a VIBE gameplay server.
The app stores the following data locally on your device using your device's internal storage:
Clearing app data removes local information; uninstall behaviour may also depend on Android or Google backup settings. We do not operate our own general-purpose gameplay backup server.
Saving a report draft does not upload it. If you explicitly press Submit report, the app sends the following allowlisted report fields to the developer's first-party reporting endpoint: report ID/time, source classification, selected reason, optional comment, reported card ID/raw text/type/mode/intensity, and app version/build.
Submitted card-report records are stored privately for developer moderation and are scheduled for deletion after 90 days.
The report schema has no separate field for your saved player list or player names and does not automatically include saved decks, any legacy Gemini API key, advertising identifiers, billing/order/account data, precise location, contacts, or device serial. However, the reported card text and optional comment can contain information that you entered, including names or other personal information. Do not include personal or sensitive information unless it is necessary to explain the report. Obvious Google API-key-shaped strings in report card text/comments are redacted before transport and again by the receiver.
A successful in-app submission returns a receipt to the device. Failed/offline reports remain locally retrievable for retry. Reporting a card does not automatically remove it.
You can also choose an email fallback. Opening the email app does not send anything until you press Send there; your message and sender address are then received by the developer through the email provider. Support correspondence is separate from the automated 90-day card-report store. Contact the developer at the address below to request deletion of correspondence; applicable legal obligations may limit deletion.
Core local gameplay and AI Deck Forge prompt export can run without our own gameplay server. An internet connection is required for rewarded ads, streamed Party Radio, Google Play purchase verification/restoration, and in-app card-report submission. We use the following services, which may process data under their own privacy policies:
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. To provide this service, Google and its partners may collect and process certain data from your device.

In build23 (20.3) and the current prompt-export workflow, AI Deck Forge copies one fixed VIBE card-writing prompt to your clipboard. The following describes that workflow:
Older versions: Some older Vibe builds and the older web preview offer direct Gemini generation using an API key supplied by you. When you request a deck through that older feature, its generation request and key are sent directly to Google under Google's terms and applicable API charges. VIBE has no AI proxy server. Current builds use the external-prompt workflow; Settings can remove an unused legacy key.
Vercel hosts VIBE's first-party card-report endpoint and private report storage when you explicitly submit a report. Vercel may process connection/operational data such as IP address and request metadata to deliver and secure the service.
The developer may use a notification service to alert them to a new accepted report. Notification payloads are limited to report receipt/time/source/reason/app metadata and deliberately exclude the reported card text and optional comment.
Party Radio streams selected licensed tracks from Pixabay's content-delivery network. The remote service necessarily receives connection information such as your IP address when a track is requested. Party Radio is optional and labelled beta because remote tracks can become unavailable.
VIBE processes submitted reports and necessary connection/security data for the legitimate interests of investigating safety or content concerns, operating and protecting the reporting service, and preventing abuse. Purchase processing is necessary to provide the subscription you request and meet applicable legal obligations. Optional radio and report features contact their providers only when you request them; AI Deck Forge prompt export makes no network request.
Where required, the app asks for your choice through Google's consent system before personalized advertising uses identifiers. You can revisit that choice from Settings > Cookie Settings. Withdrawing advertising consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. Rewarded ads remain optional and are requested only when you choose an ad-supported unlock.
The Android app does not request Camera permission or record, save or transmit photos or video. A card asking for a photo refers to you using your own camera app outside VIBE.
This application is intended only for adults aged 18 or over and contains mature themes. We do not knowingly collect first-party personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to VIBE, contact us with the report receipt if available so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
Depending on the law that applies, you may ask to access, rectify or erase your personal data, restrict or object to processing, or receive portable data. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office using its data-protection complaint service.
You can manage local gameplay data in the app, including using Reset App Data to clear local storage. Submitted card reports are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. If you want to exercise a right or ask about a submitted report, include its receipt ID when contacting the developer; do not send additional sensitive information unless necessary. Some requests may be limited where an exemption applies or identity cannot reasonably be verified.
